Michael’s parents, Richard and Marjory Helin celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 13, 2007.

 

The entire Helin family went to Disneyland, CA in May to celebrate the big event.  That is what mom and dad wanted for us to do.  They couldn’t think of anything more fun and precious than to be with their kids and grandkids at Disneyland.    We had the best time!!!

 

The kids saw the Mickey and Minnie bride and groom while we were at the gift shop and all pooled their money to buy it to commemorate the event.  You should have seen the tears that rolled when they opened this present today.  

 

All of the fun and excitement of Disneyland was relived a bit with a special video production that Michael secretly put together for his parents to enjoy over and over again....and in their case, over and over again!!!  The 3 Helin kids spoke on camera about what their parents mean to them and the grandkids got in on some “Happy Anniversary” wishes as well.

 

We chose today to Celebrate with cake and presents as the girls were gone, and myself as well, on the “actual” day.  We hope that they feel our love and support for them during this great celebration!!  We are so Blessed by their Legacy of a 50 year marriage!!
