Mikayla arrived home today from Springfield, MO after spending 6 weeks working with little MK’s during Pre Field Orientation and School of Missions.  All of my little chick-a-dees are now home and in the roost.  It has been VERY weird for me to have them spread all over the world.  Michael says it is just a taste of what is coming down the road for us over our next term in Spain.  I’m not thinking about it all....I rebuke it.....for now anyway.

 

She had such a great time with her little MK, Chelsea.  Chelsea, has some special needs, so Mikayla was assigned to work specifically with her.    They became great little buddies.  Because of Mikayla, Chelsea had the most fantastic time during the 5 weeks of school.  What could have been so hard and difficult for her parents became such a blessing for their family.  They were so excited at how much Chelsea wanted to go to class.  That made leaving her every day so much easier.  They couldn’t thank Mikayla enough for all that she did for them to make their time in MO so special.  We are so impressed with our girl, not surprised, just blessed to be her parents.
