BIOGRAPHY

Michael Antkowiak was born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1977. In 2001 he graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design in Canada, and in 2003 received his MFA from the New York Academy of Art in New York City. Upon graduating he was awarded a scholarship from the Prince of Wales Foundation, which included an artist’s residency in Normandy, France. He has exhibited his paintings in the United States and Canada since 2001, most recently being selected for the 3rd Queens International at the Queens Museum of Art. He lives and works in Toronto, Canada and New York City.
