I am a poet, essayist, fiction writer, photographer, and digital artist who has recently moved to Israel from the U.S. to pursue my art(s). While studying Hebrew five mornings a week and working online for a small hourly rate, I'm also continuing to study Jewish mysticism and to write, photograph, and create digital images I've also started teaching (English writing and reading) at colleges and universities here, but not for great pay. However, I would like to focus more on my creative work. To do that, I need more money. My poems get published, and so do some of my photos and digital art, but typically in art and literary journals, which means no pay. I have three book-length poetry manuscripts, but so far no publisher. Perhaps you'd like to help?
There are a few ways you could help. Of course, if you are a wealthy patron of the arts, perhaps you could set up an endowment for me. But I'm guessing that most people who have read this far are not in a position to do so. So here are some easier ways:
If you have another idea, I'd like to hear your suggestion.
I am a private individual, an artist, not a non-profit. Any gifts or purchases, unfortunately, are not tax deductible in the U.S. or anywhere else, so far as I know.
