Vered’s father, Charles E. Searls, passed away this morning (US) after a full life of 78 years. Vered is preparing to fly to the States Wednesday morning, arriving in Dallas, Texas Wednesday afternoon and driving from there to Paris to be with her remaining family (two brothers and their families). Vered’s dad was ready to meet his God and to join his wife who died last December.

While I will remain in Israel, our children, Adam, Benjamin and Melody will join Vered in Texas for Chuck’s funeral on Saturday, October 24th.
