“I am an expressionist and colorist and use art to explore my unique view of the world.   A transplant here, California has been the crucible that brought art to the forefront of my life.  Because of that, the visual inspiration I find here is key to my artistic life.  The vibrant, natural beauty surrounding my home inspires me every day.”

I have participated in over forty exhibits, including seven solo shows, and won numerous awards. The most recent are first place in aquamedia in the California Gold Coast Watercolor Society Spring 2008 Open Show and first place mixed media in the Thousand Oaks Art Association Fall Members’ Show. 

I have current affiliations with: the National Watercolor Society, the Santa Barbara Art Association, the Las Padres Art Association of Santa Barbara, the Thousand Oaks Art Association,  Studio Channel Islands, Ventura County Art Association and the California Gold Coast Watercolor Society.  I served as President of the California Gold Coast Watercolor Society in 2004 and I am a lifetime signature member of that group.
