1st Sony Wedding Video Contest
Tuesday, September 18, 2007 Deadline is going to be mid October. I'll upload the entry form PDF very soon. Just get ready with your masterpieces! 

Who May Enter: 
The contest is open to any professional or amateur Filipino wedding videographer. Regular WPPP members and employees of Sony are not permitted to participate. Delegatesof the Wedding Expo and Pinoyvideomaker forum members are permitted to join. Entrants must be based in the Philippines.

What May Be Entered: 
Entries shall consist of a single production of a wedding highlights video. All footage used must have been shot for the same event (not necessarily on the same date). The appropriate use of graphic elements, scoring, photographs, engagement shoots are permissible. The time limit shall not fall under 60 seconds and exceed five minutes. 


Entry Period: 
Entries will be accepted beginning September 15th, 2007. 

No exceptions will be made for any reason. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the organizers receive your entry (entries) by the deadline. 

How To Enter: 
Fully complete one official entry form and attach that form 
securely to the entry. Only one entry is allowed per participant. 

All entries must be submitted in miniDV, in the NTSC standard. Company logos and/or names, as well as the names of any member of the production team must not appear in any entry. Failure to observe this rule is cause for disqualification. 

Please ensure that the video is properly cued. 
To protect the videos while being handled, please encase each video in a protective covering, 

Please use plain labels on all entries. Your studio name and/or logo must not appear anywhere on the labels, tape case, or tape shell. ONLY the first and last names of the couple are to be indicated on the label (ie. Santos-Cruz). 

Judging: 
Entries are judged on objective elements, as well as the judges’ subjective reactions. 
These elements include dramatic impact, visual creativity, originality, style of shooting and 
editing, use and/or reproduction of audio, pacing, and overall production content. The judges 
will be a select group of professional event videographers. 

The decisions of the judges are final. 
The awards will be formally presented at the WPPP's Photo Congress.
