Who is Doctor No?

My real name is Menno CCHM Meerbach. I teach economics and music in school. I was born in 1972 and I grew up nearby Rotterdam. I started playing guitar when I was seventeen, shortly after the terrible loss of my younger brother. After 2 years I made a crucial decision in my life. I decided to chase my dreams at lightspeed. Make the best out of the time that is given to you. I discovered the true power of music and art. I also developed a deep resent against religion at that time.

I knew I could make an album that would be a tremendous adventure through styles and soundscapes. That was ‘INFINITY OF CHAOS’. We had some really great reviews in 2002 and I did many interviews.

This moment feels like an absolute peak in the history of BLACK HORIZON. I have done mostly everything myself; music, video, DVD and website. This site allows me to freely put stuff out. Previously, the website was very unaccessable for me. I am fully in control. I trust my feeling. It is like I finally see where every little piece of the puzzle fits in. Make no mistake, my work is far from perfect, but for now the best I can do.
