Academic


At UNCW  I teach upper division courses on the Neural Mechanisms of Memory, Cognitive Science, and the History of Psychology.  Much of my teaching involves working closely with students on their own research projects in the neuroscience laboratory.  I enjoy being in the lab working with undergraduate and graduate students who are trying to discover new ways of understanding memory, the brain, and how to promote recovery after brain injury.



Private Sector


Through MARS Memory-Health Network, LLC., and Julendale Research, LLC., I provide consulting to companies engaged in scientific research and manage pharmaceutical clinical studies conducted at various study centers in Southeastern North Carolina.  Julendale Research, LLC. is owned by Len Lecci, Ph.D.,  Dale Cohen, Ph.D., and Julian Keith, Ph.D.
