I am a maker of book works/ artists’ books, a sculptor in handmade paper, and an installation artist who also makes prints and drawings.  Sometimes I’m a curator, and every so often, I write things.

I am also an independent educator, who has been teaching Book Arts classes since 1991, and Sculptural Paper classes since 2000. From 1994 until May, 2009, I helped to build and run a facility that was dedicated to an innovative, open approach to the book and paper arts in Chicago, and, from 1996 until May, 2009, I helped to develop and taught in an MFA program in Interdisciplinary Book and Paper Arts there.

I am also a person with a severe hearing loss.

I’m not trained in the making of web sites; hopefully this D.I.Y. site will give you a sense of my work.
