Prague

Prague - 2007
Walk through the main entrance of the Prague Castle with its posted guards, marvel at the Gothic St. Vitas Cathedral with its Mucha stained glass window, soaring vault, and gargoyles. Tour the Loreto with its treasure and the Strahov Monastery with its renowned library.
In December of 2007, I finally had the opportunity to travel to the beautiful city of Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. Being there at Christmas time enabled us to see the city cloaked in festivities of lights, music, and traditions.
We also traveled to the town of Karlovy Vary, made famous by its hot thermal springs.
Little Quarter and St. Charles Bridge
With the Little Quarter Square as its focus, enjoy the splendid Baroque Church of St. Nicholas and head down to the famous St. Charles Bridge.
Old Town, Jewish Quarter, New Town
Watch the animated Old Town Clock, gather in the Old Town Square with its multicolored array of Romanesque and Gothic homes, wander through the streets and view excellent examples of Prague’s Art Nouveau architecture. Visit the historic Jewish Quarter or tour the excellent collection of St. Agnes Convent.
In this resort town, swim in the hot thermal waters or drink it for digestive health. Buy its famous pink china or Moser glass, or simply wander the streets around the thermal spring, with decorative architecture.
