Belgrade

Taking a boat trip up one of Belgrade’s two rivers is a great way to see the city. During our school-sponsored trip up the Sava River, we had excellent panoramic views of the old city including Kalemegdan, the ancient fortress situated at the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers. The sun began to set as we neared the beautiful town of Zemun.
