Meg Leonard
 
Meg Leonard is a painter living in north central New Mexico between the Sandia Mountain Range and the Rio Grande River. This long-sought residence is a dream realized, after residing thirty years in Wisconsin, traveling often to paint the “Land of Enchantment” and developing maturity in her work. Meg also enjoyed a nursing career then established herself in the field of decorative painting and faux finishes. Her vibrant use of color and sensitivity to the earth contours are evident in pastel and oil paintings. She prefers to paint from direct observation in the field but finds the studio work more sublime,as the paintings develop from information within.
