Following plans from an internet site, I purchased and converted a $20 ice chest to cool my fog down. Why? Cause fog is a fussy thing. Too cold and it can’t form; too warm and it dissipates. Fog machines work on heat so right there you have a problem. We want fog that hugs the ground and crawls out along your ankles like a snake... heh heh heh.

I got a nasty surprise when my $%^&*#@ fogger STOPPED HEATING UP a half hour before show time, forcing me to make a mad dash to Party City and replace it with an inferior model. This turned out to be a blessing however; it turns out that when I removed the angles and shot it straight thru the chamber, I needed a lower wattage fogger to avoid pushing it thru before the fog could chill.

This emergency forced me to rethink the entire concept and do a little more research before next year.
