The IMVA and FSEM) are very concerned and moved by the events in New Jersey regarding the long term exposure of children to mercury from the old thermometer factory there. We feel that the threat to the children has been addressed disproportionately by the FDA and US Government for the severity of its consequences and that local doctors are not trained sufficiently in diagnosis and treatment of mercury contamination

With this in mind we have formed the Silver Cross whose mission and purpose is to offer emergency and long term support to these families even. The IMVA and FSEM have put together extensive information on the implications of heavy metal toxicity with mercury and we want to make it available to both physicians and parents. We are even ready to distribute detoxification and chelation products that are being donated to us for this purpose. We have obtained commitments for product donations from four excellent companies that provide safe and effective natural detoxification and chelation that will greatly assist in the safe removal of mercury before any possible long term damage sets in.

It is our hope that we can be instrumental in setting up safe protocols that will help get the mercury out of the children before any possible long term damage sets in. We are open to working with lawyers and also with companies and local health officials all in an intense effort to bring the most up to date unbiased information to the people who most need it.

We also hope, with your donations, to set up virtual groups to offer this kind of relief effort to chronic sufferers of mercury poisoning, specifically families with autism spectrum disorders. Many of these families have their backs to the walls financially and need assistance for the safe and effective treatment of mercury and other chemical toxicity.
