Welcome to Lutterworth Photographic Society online. The aim of this site is to show and inform both members and non-members of the current activities of the Society. New members are welcome at any time through out the year. The Society is very informal and whilst historically film based it is embracing the new digital technology both in capture and printing.
Please take a look around.

Hi, do you wish you could take better pictures (well who doesn't)? I've been taking them for many years and I'm still getting better at it. It's not that I'm a slow learner, it's just that it’s taken me a while to realise that the best pictures are consistently taken by the best photographers and that the camera you use hasn’t got a lot to do with it. The moral of this story is clear – If you want to take better pictures, then you should pick up ideas and techniques from other, more experienced photographers.
If you happen to live in or around Lutterworth, then you’re in luck. There’s an active Photographic Society here that could gently point you in the right direction. You won’t get any lectures from us on how to use a camera - we assume you already know as much as you need – though there are plenty of club members who should be able to help with any questions you might have. What you will see are lots of great pictures (some from the best photographers in the country) which we hope will develop that essential “seeing” eye.
Why don’t you check out our programme and if you see something that appeals? Just drop in on us – you will more than welcome. We won’t be asking you for lots of money (well, not unless you want a cup of tea).
Good luck,
John Haddon (Society President, 2005/6)
