The above link is the result of an idea that started about eight years ago.

A seemingly simple idea that caused us to continually ask ourselves, “what if?”

The idea eventually became a drawing in a sketchbook, which in time became a 3D computer model. And many years and prototypes later, we landed on something that worked. And after endless rounds of scrutiny by designers, engineers, lawyers, friends and family, we finally had something worth talking about. 

With the construction of a website, the good word made it onto a handful of blogs. Apparently the right blogs. The result was a groundswell of inquiries that had us replying to hundreds of e-mails from around the world. We heard from nice people, crazy people, small businesses, big businesses, inventors, investors, reporters and of course a handful of Nigerian princes looking to give us millions of dollars. 

Luckily, woven in among the responses were a number of very real companies. Thus continues the story of what happens when a few ad people team up with some bright engineering minds in an attempt to try and answer the simple question,

“what if?”
