This mural highlights the history of the church as seen through four versions of it’s buildings.  The four versions are shown in what was deemed to be the latest technology of the time, beginning with a drawing on paper, then a daguerreotype, a black and white photo and a current color (digital) photo. 

The project began with a very small group of talented church members working on Wednesday nights.  A variety of problems became evident as we tried to work, from lack of time to work on the mural to a cold building in the winter.  Spring found members of our group with different obligations so I worked on the wall during my spring break.  I am, after all, more of a morning person!
