Students today deserve to learn the skills they will need for their lives, not ours.  We can not teach students the same way our teachers taught us.  It is not enough to do “computers” once a week.  Good teaching, from Kindergarten to Music to IB Art to High-school History class, must include students using the technology tools appropriate to their level and discipline.  Reading a web site, navigating a piece of software, using a mouse, formatting and printing a document, making a graph on the computer.  These are all 21st century skills in Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies.
