Can Elizabeth survive the heartache of losing Todd?

Steven Wakefield is STILL not over his dead girlfriend. Jessica owes her parents $80 for a charge she made on their credit card. What do these two facts have in common? Both can be solved by Jessica’s temporary employment at the Lonely Hearts Dating Agency. Or so Jessica believes.

Paying her parents back works out just fine, but for some reason Steven wasn’t really taken with any of the women she sent to his door (which she did without telling him). Could it be because one of them is 40, one is a scary biker chick, and the other is super fat? That’s my hypothesis, but Jessica thinks he’s being unreasonably picky.

She also sets herself up with a guy she’s sure will be handsome ,rich, and interesting - after all, his name is Spence Millgate! But when he turns out to be a total dud, Jessica quits the agency once and for all.

But all isn’t lost, because it looks like Steve is finally beginning to warm to Cara Walker... perhaps we’ll be hearing more about it in Book 24, Memories.

The story that we almost forgot.
