Encounters with icons
This website is about my pilgrimage through the world of icons. Through it, you may come along the way for a while and stay with me for as long as you like.
I call this interaction a pilgrimage for a number of reasons: it involves travel (you will see this). It involves temptation off the right way to an easier path. It involves moments of darkness as well as moments of light. It involves soul searching; i.e., searching for the good in the recesses of my soul. Most pilgrimages suffer from a poor map, and this one is no exception, that is because you must find your own way, even though you have pointers - you must choose whether to follow them or not.
There are two ways to follow my pilgrimage. You can explore my travels geographically by clicking on the link/tab above called “pilgrimage” - this will take you to a Google Map with places marked (in Europe) and from each marker you can go to a page dealing with each respective site. The other way is to examine my blog by clicking on the link/tab above called “blog”.
