We celebrated New Years this year by going to the first NHL hockey game held outside in the US. What a fun thing to be part of. It was only 35 degrees out and snowed the entire game! Not to mention the game went into overtime ending with a shootout! Matt used to live in Buffalo,NY and this is how he became a fan of Hockey.

It was a nice little vacation for us. We left the girls at home for this trip. We enjoyed eating buffalo wings and beef on weck at the original restaurant where buffalo wings were invented! We also did a little outside ice skating. That was fun too! The Ice Bowl was the highlight of our trip but we also managed a trip to go visit Niagara Falls! That was very cool and it was only 15 degrees that day! Don’t worry this time I made sure to do the layer thing. When I was all bundled up I had over 5 layers of clothing on!

I am looking forward to 2008 and know it will be a great year! Happy New Year’s everyone!!
