Fitness-in-Training
Frequently asked questions:
-
1.“What does it cost?“ I charge an hourly rate. An individual session at my studio is $60/hour. I encourage multiple sessions to get into a rhythm and see results. To that end, I offer a discounted package rate of 12 sessions for $600, each session lasting an hour. Many clients opt for the twice-a-week training sessions; so for $100/week you get two great workouts with your personal trainer and no extra gym fees when training at my studio.
-
2.“Do you offer training sessions for couples, and if so, is there a cost savings?“ Yes, I do offer training sessions for couples. The cost is $90/hour, so on a per person basis there is a significant cost benefit. Also, some people enjoy the comradeship and extra motivation that comes from training alongside their spouse, partner, or best friend.

3.“Where do you train?“ I can provide you your individualized training wherever you prefer. Some people prefer to train at the gym where they are already a member, and I have privileges to train at most facilities in town. If you are not already a member and would like to join a gym, I can make some good suggestions for you. Many people, however, are new to the experience and may be intimidated by a gym at first. If that’s you, I can provide you an excellent opportunity to either train at my personal studio in my home, or I can come over to your home. For many individuals complex and expensive machines are not necessary to obtain the benefits of personal fitness training, and working out at home can be a great start. I can help you get past that initial lack of motivation and direction.

4.“Is a medical release required?” As part of the initial consultation, I will review your medical history and ask pertinent questions to determine the need for a medical release. You can also get a preliminary answer by going to www.yourbody.com and complete the free exercise risk assessment questionnaire. Also, if in doubt, get a doctor’s release.

5.What do I wear? What you wear is up to you, but keep it comfortable, and be prepared to do a little cardio, stretch, and workout for an hour.

6.“Is there a good time to start?” Yes ... now. Do it now while you’re motivated. No need to wait until some holiday is over, or some company is gone, or some work is finished. Just give me a call (305-394-7900), send me an email (marcbungeroth@mac.com), or stop by at my house to view my studio at 1404 Newton Street.
