In 2003 me, Mike, and Matt decided that we need to go on a real camping vacation adventure. And Jessica wanted to come too. We all decided to head out to Utah for real desert camping. We kicked our own asses the whole trip, from under nourished, up river hiking (in the river) in The Narrows, to hiking up over 1200 feet to Angels Landing, to nearly killing myself mountain biking, it was Hard Core. There was only one shower the whole week, non stop driving both to and from and then the infamous “Mike running out of gas” in the middle of nowhere, I wouldn’t have traded it for anything. It was an absolute BLAST!
