Care Instructions: - Food safe. - Hand wash. - Wipe immediately after use with a soft, damp cloth. - Dry immediately with a soft cloth to avoid spotting. - Do not use solvents, ammonia or any household cleaners. - Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scouring pads. - As with all metal, never place in a microwave oven. - Do not place in freezer. Our collections combine sand-cast aluminum with hand-painted pearlized enamel, some with hand-cut, hand-inlaid Mother of Pearl. Our enamels are mixed with crushed Mother of Pearl giving each piece depth and beauty. Each swirl of color is applied with the thumb of a skilled artisan. To keep Julia Knight serveware pieces looking beautiful, hand-wash after every use. Since Aluminum shows water spots, dry thoroughly. To remove a recent water spot, use a small amount of olive oil and a soft cloth. They never need polishing.
