MAX WAGNER JAZZ THE ANNUAL ESTES PARK JAZZ FESTIVAL
WAS FOUNDED BY MAX WAGNER; AND FROM IT’S HUMBLE BEGINNINGS, HAS GROWN INTO A TWO DAY EVENT FEATURING THE FINEST NATIONAL AND COLORADO AREA JAZZ ARTISTS.
Internationally known Jazz Stars Benny Golson, Marlena Shaw, Don Braden, Angela Hagenbach, and Les McCann have been presented over the years, along with top Colorado area Jazz Artists, many of whom have national reputations, including The Ken Walker Sextet, Images, Ellyn Rucker, Eric Gunnison, Dotsero, Pat Bianchi, Hazel Miller, Nelson Rangel, and others.

2009 Estes Park Jazz Festival Schedule
The Annual Estes Park Jazz Festival, now in it's 19th year, will be held at Performance Park; located at the West end of Down Town Estes Park.  
This two-day event featuring National and Colorado Jazz artists, will take place from Noon to 5pm on Saturday and on Sunday, May 16th & 17th.

This Year we will be presenting two world class Jazz Star Headliners at The Estes Park Jazz Festival; one each on Saturday and Sunday.  On Saturday, May 16th, 
renowned Jazz Vocalist and composer, Amazon Records recording artist, 
Angela Hagenbach will bring her lush contralto to the Performance Park stage in a presentation of swinging straight-ahead Jazz Standards, Blues, Latin Jazz and original compositions.  Sunday’s line up will include innovative  New York Tenor Saxophonist and High Note Records recording artist, the imaginative, technically excellent, and soulful  Don Braden; representing the cutting edge in Modern Jazz. 

The Music Continues at Night ,
The Max Wagner Trio performs  from 7-9pm on Saturday, May 16th during Jazz Fest weekend at MAMA ROSE’S (an official sponsor of The Estes Park Jazz Festival) located in Barlow Plaza -along the River Walk at 338 E. Elkhorn Avenue in downtown Estes Park. MAMA ROSE’S will have a Special Wine Dinner d One Seating d  starting at 7pm; and will also be serving their regular menu throughout the evening.
