This is how to get up to the lodge....   If you’re headed up I-75,  take a right turn at Exit (mile marker) # 326.  If you set your trip odometer to zero just at the end of the off-ramp, you’ll find the cabin on your left (North) at just about 20.0 miles.  Once you leave I-75 you will be on Levering Road.  After about 6.5 miles, you’ll get into the city limits of Cheboygan and the street name will be State Street.  At about 7.8 miles or so, you’ll come to the only active traffic signal on your way to the cabin.  It’s at the junction of Hwy 23 and M-27.  Just beyond that you will see another (usually) green light that is used to stop traffic for the drawbridge over the Cheboygan River.  After that, you just keep going straight, and the cabin is just about 12 miles or so from there.    The best way to do it, though, is to look for house number signs on your right.  You’ll see  lots of them and the one you’ll be looking for is 11858.  Once you see that sign (it’s very large, painted white with black numbers on it), slow down to about 20 mph, and very quickly you’ll see the sign with the moose and pine trees.  Then you follow the driveway down about 4 turns to the cabin, the driveway is all of 500’ long.....Everything will be waiting for you to come in and enjoy yourselves!     To condense the above, just remember this:   Head due East from the intersection of I-75 and Levering Rd.  DO NOT TURN LEFT OR RIGHT, JUST KEEP HEADED STRAIGHT AHEAD ABOUT 20 MILES....
