It struck me as a great way to study a movie from a whole new perspective.  I immediately set about devising a method to create images like the ones I saw on this website.

First I had to share this idea with my filmmaking partner and computer programmer friend, Ben.  He told me to not waste my time doing it myself.  15 minutes later he had written a stand alone program with a nifty user interface, called Thumber, that automatically did everything.

I now present to you these film mosaics, inspired by the work of Brendan Dawes, for some of the films I have worked on.
