November VFS screening

It’s nearly time for our November film on Tuesday 6th November in East Garston Village Hall. Tsotsi is a gripping South African narrative about a  young gang leader who gets into more trouble than he expects when he steals a car. This adaptation of Athol Fugard’s novel offers a rare insight into South African life after apartheid. Winner 2005 Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.

The film starts at 7.30pm and this week preceding the film we will be holding a brief AGM starting at 6.45pm. Please come along. The AGM will include a short presentation on our new interactive all singing, all dancing website.

As usual, orders for Nippy Chippy will be taken on the door and delivered at the interval. Please feel free to bring your own cushions.
