Welcome to a website for the village of East Garston.
East Garston is a long, narrow parish of nearly 4,500 acres in the far west of Berkshire, England between the village of Lambourn and town of Newbury. The village occupies the centre of the parish, through which runs the river Lambourn. The parish has approximately 226 dwellings and a population of 532 (2001 census).
We hope to provide an all-embracing source of information about the community of East Garston for residents, visitors and anyone else who needs it. The site is not sponsored by any particular group or organisation, but seeks to serve the community as a whole.

This Evening and Tonight:
A rather cloudy evening, with further showers in western parts, with the east mostly dry with clearer skies. The showers will continue near the south coast overnight but should mostly die out inland. Some clear spells but staying quite mild. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
Friday:
Some sunny intervals but showers will develop more widely during the morning, some locally heavy. More general cloud and rain will reach western parts by evening. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
