Welcome to a website for the village of East Garston.
East Garston is a long, narrow parish of nearly 4,500 acres in the far west of Berkshire, England between the village of Lambourn and town of Newbury. The village occupies the centre of the parish, through which runs the river Lambourn. The parish has approximately 226 dwellings and a population of 532 (2001 census).
We hope to provide an all-embracing source of information about the community of East Garston for residents, visitors and anyone else who needs it. The site is not sponsored by any particular group or organisation, but seeks to serve the community as a whole.

Showers, some heavy or prolonged. A few sunny intervals.
Today:
Sunny intervals but also showers and these becoming widespread and many of them heavy. Some of the showers will also be prolonged in places and could be thundery. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Tonight:
Becoming drier generally, with showers lighter and less widespread, and with some occasionally clearer skies, but also becoming misty with fog patches in some rural areas. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Tuesday:
Sunny intervals but with heavy showers developing again, some of these thundery and perhaps locally prolonged. Becoming rather more breezy, too. Maximum temperature 19 °C..
