If you don’t know nytheatre.com, you should, because it’s a compendium of vital information about theater in New York, including reviews of more indie theater than any other site I know.  

 

“Indie theater” is the term that’s coming into use to denote small shows, the kind formerly known as “off-off Broadway.”  I think the theory behind it is that the shows have nothing to do with Broadway, so why should we help them with their marketing?
