Advisers...the Essential Piece of Leadership
Annual Advisers’ Conference 2007

GENERAL SESSION I
Advisers are welcomed by Association Coordinator, Kadi Pojeta
Advisers dig into their goody bags for a single puzzle piece...
...and the mixer begins!
Advisers must find the other eight people that have the puzzles pieces needed to complete their puzzle.
James Hodges, Vestaburg High School, searches for the rest of his puzzle
Advisers from around Michigan get together - from St. Clair to Parchment to Clio!
One group seems to be making progress...
...and another group tries to figure out what their puzzle says, but they seem to be missing quite a few pieces!
Almost there...they can’t quite make out the entire riddle that’s written on the back.
Two advisers stick with their puzzle while others from their group leave to find the missing pieces!
Now how does this go together???
First group done! And they solved the riddle on the back - good teamwork!
JAMES HODGES, VESTABURG H.S.

Aaron Donaghy (Avondale HS) and Sarah Willey (Clio HS) share their thoughts with (and apparently entertain) advisers around them.
Ideas flow as advisers hear what other schools do.
Bob reminds the advisers that they need to “bottle good energy and save it for later”
The advisers enjoy the very relatable stories Bob Tryanski shares with them!
Presenters line up against the far right to take turns telling about their sessions tomorrow.
THANK YOU ALL PRESENTERS!!!!
Larry Streeter looks on as Tom Panackia (West Bloomfield HS) looks through the selections at the Advisors’ Store (provided by Tom Heethuis).
After a warm welcome from Jeff Heethuis, Jostens Rep, advisers head over to the Appreciation Hospitality, sponsored by Jostens!
Some advisers seem to get distracted by the array of resources laid out and take their time getting to the reception.
The atmosphere is light, relaxed and welcoming as advisers catch up with colleagues and unwind from a very long day!

Pleasant, January 25-26, 2007.  They were recognized and appreciated throughout the MASC/MAHS Annual State Advisers’ Conference -- while at the same time they learned about new techniques, exciting resources, special projects, fun ideas and made valuable connections with other advisers.
