and courage by not letting the disease keep him down and that he is a role

Thanks for your email. I remember when I first found out I had Crohn’s I thought to myself, now why would this happen to me of all people. As a Christian, sometimes we think we are immune to the “bad” things in life. It couldn’t be more far from the truth. I quickly found out that this disease was a way to help others. I wasn’t ashamed of the symptoms, as a lot of people are. I was willing to talk about it to others and get the word out, especially to young kids. I couldn’t imagine being in middle or high school and having to tell my friends what Crohn’s was. I want youngsters to understand that they do not have to be ashamed of this disease and that it doesn’t have to control their lives.
Thank you for the kind words in your email. I appreciate getting such uplifting emails. Crohn’s disease has helped me win more fans than I ever imagined. Thanks again.
