I believe that we all see the world differently and painting expresses my view.  As an artist, I will stop for a moment to observe the world, paint it and show that look, view and moment by means of my medium.  I want to simplify the world as best I can and share it in order to clearly tell the story of how I feel through each painting so that it may be experienced by others.  When these viewers appreciate and are moved by my paintings, I feel that I have been given the gift of inspiration for future works.

I received my degree at Pratt Institute and entered the art world working at the Norcross Greeting Card Company and free lancing in New York.  Marriage and family created a temporary detour. My love of art persisted as I continued my commitment to painting specializing in transparent watercolor and oil.  Participation in shows from invitational to national and local has brought recognition along with awards, and my paintings have been included in corporate offices as well as private collections both here and abroad.
