This is a collection of ideas, tips and hints for using collaborative learning environments.  It part of a growing resource from MedrusLearning.  Expect these pages to change a lot - I will change the pages in response to bith those who read them and the availability of social  media tools to make the learning and writing more dynamic and interactive. it is likely that before long I will duplicate all of this material in a social networking site.

These ideas developed from some collaborative learning activities originally undertaken, in the 1990’s using the FirstClass system. However they relate to all environments that can support inter learner communication including learning platforms, VLE/MLE and social media. This collection of resource is essentially about the ideas or "lesson plan equivalents" to on-line learning.
