Just a quick ad for a gig/’happening’ (isn’t everything that happens, strictly speaking a happening?) in Liverpool this Saturday (24th Jan), which sounds amazing. I’m intending to go, so I’ll let you know if it was.

 

10 Bands are playing 10 minutes of Weezer covers. My love of Weezer is well documented on these pages, hell, I even liked Make Believe which everyone else in the world, it seems, hated.

 

My love of Hot Club de Paris and Married to The Sea is equally well documented and both of them are playing (in fact I think MTTS organised the whole shebang) so I’m really quite excited. When you add Voo, 28 Costumes and Puzzle, all of whom have featured on my radio show, well it becomes darn near unmissable.

 

Get your Scouse, woolly or Manc ass down there.
