We went for a lovely walk this afternoon. Walking through the woods. It reminded of the walks my grandmother. We’d walk for hours around her home near Trethomas, down to bluebell wood or across the fields full of wheat or corn. We would always take time to stop and look at things. I as “whats that Nanna” She’d know she would tell us. Then the next time we saw it we’d be quizzed. “What type of tree is that? What s that butterfly? see that flower what’s it called? So today when I saw this newt and some flowers on the road side, all I could here was my grandmother saying “you should know that Mark!!!!!.
Sorry Nanna. She gave me so much. I do hope I can learn once more the names of these wonders of nature. So that my children can grow closer to it and enjoy it as much as I do.
