Two great groups, one great team
 
Yokota AFB is a west Tokyo suburb right under the shadow of Mt. Fuji. There are 14,000 military personnel and families who live and server in this community. Malachi’s staff Jason and Cindy Wolden have the privilege of representing Christ to the families and students in this community. I spoke with their chaplains who publically said, “if we could clone Jason and Cindy, we would take them everywhere I go.” Parents, student, and volunteers all communicated the great work of Christ is doing through Jason and Cindy there. Kathy and I got to see both their High and Middle School ministries. It was great! We got to see Malachi’s vision at work. Jason and Cindy have created biblical community with students their chapel, they were teaching and providing opportunities for students to minister to their peers, equipping volunteers and parents to do ministry and creating vision to join God where ever He’s at work through service projects to the homeless and down trodden. Please pray for Jason and Cindy they have a lot of difficult things going on in their world. Here’s a quote from their email update, “Please lift us up in prayer in the following 4 areas (and they all start with ‘M’ for easy memorization): Marriage, Ministry, Money, & Maturity. I suppose these 4 Ms could be prayer matters for all of us; however, if you wish to find out more details about these matters for us, please keep checking our website for more understanding…or reply.” Some other things to pray for: Jason’s Guitar broke just recently and he needs raise fund for a new one and they are working with their chaplains so that they can live on base.
