Home Again

Home again, the long flight home was worth every second spent with my knees around my ears and my suitcase being dropped by every bugged out baggage handler in the east. I have returned to catch the leaves falling and all the colours turning to winter as the bitter rain of summer turns into the beautiful sunshine of early Christmas. The shops are full of plastic santas and the sky is full of pretty colours with loud pops and bangs as the soundtrack. At least I was home in time for fireworks night, Twinks, Cruikers and I went to the local rugby ground to watch what Guy had intended to do but failed miserably. I wonder how it would be if he had succeeded.....

We are off up to the mother land at the weekend to watch my brother Paul and the lovely Claire take the leap into the future as one. There is a lot of excitement in the air and there will undoubtedly be some tears but I know its going to be a lovely day. The piper will be nervous as hell, after all is last gig was seeing Madge and Guy Ritchie walk up the isle. He has a much tougher client to keep happy this time!

I just want to pass my thanks on to the David Sylvian lot, it sure was a tour to remember! Some great shows and some even better days off. A few sticky patches along the way, some journeys to forget and some great local crews and promoters to remember. Hope to share a lounge with you all again soon xx
