The main thing to remember about Focus. is that you can never forget to put the period after the name, and it's all about breaking skateboards in half with your foot.
It's funny, we changed our name from Omega Supreme, because we thought that we would get in trouble with Hasbro. Are you kidding? How many people knew about Omega Supreme (the band), oh yeah-- nobody. I'm pretty sure Hasbro wasn't shaking in their shoes on the off chance that we might defame the character of Omega Supreme upon getting massively popular and signing a major record deal. "Oh man, have you heard of this band of high school kids that have the same name as a character we invented? Man, those kids are really misrepresenting what Omega Supreme is all about. I'm gonna get our lawyers to sue them for defamation of character. Of a cartoon character."
We played a couple of shows in a friend's basement in Lake Mills, played a couple of shows in a barn in Cambridge, and we also played a couple of shows in Milwaukee, though I don't know exactly where or when we played. I think we played at a place called the Fletch, and at a place called the Oakland House. Both places had classic, classic shows at them. I believe our last show was in Madison, and was played after not practicing for a long, long time. We only played 4 songs; the 4 songs on our demo.
What were we thinking?
