How do you stay productive?
While writing the “Modest Proposal” entry (here), I came across a link to a piece on the CNN Money website by Bill Gates called “How I Work.” (Go here.)
Two things. (1) I’m reminded how much information is at our fingertips when we’re on the web. I’m looking for one thing, I come across another, and the next thing I know I have this cascade of open web pages I will read through before moving onto something else. And (2) I’m amazed how so many of the tools Gates says he uses are available for all of us to use. The biggest geek of all not only creates and develops but uses the same commercial software tools / products we do.
