How to clean a toilet
1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of pet shampoo to the water in the bowl.
2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him towards the bathroom.
3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet and close the lid. You may need to stand on the lid.
4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds. Never mind the noises that come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying this.
5. Flush the toilet three or four times. This provides a 'power-wash' and rinse'.
6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be sure that there are no people between the bathroom and the front door.
7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and quickly lift the lid.
8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet, streak through the bathroom, and run outside where he will dry himself off.
9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling clean.

Sometimes a dog is a dog's best friend
Wild dog packs are beginning to grow in my neighborhood again. It is really Interesting to observe them. They particularly like to hang around Jay's recycling center, probably because of the intense garbage smells and dreams of a meal. Late last night a pretty big dog leapt my fence chasing a cat. The chase went up on to the roof(pretty spectacular since the roof is curved and twenty-five feet high), continued for a while all over the roof and then went back down by the side of the building and into the vacant lot next door where the dog killed the cat. No hissing, shrieking, or barking. Then the dog came over to the little fish pond next to my door and slurped up a whole bunch of water and leapt back over the fence(6 feet high). None of this did I see but heard it all in vivid detail like a radio play. I'd have thought it a dream but I found the dead cat this morning about twenty feet from my bedroom door. The cat was born here on my bed a few years ago and lived outside as a stray but kept coming back home to my bed and pissing on my pillow. Once, when it was younger, I trapped it and drove it up to Richmond(about six miles up the freeway) and let it go by a stream which ran through a meadow. A year later it was back in the neighborhood and pissing on my pillow again. A couple of days ago it even left me a huge dead rat by my bedroom door. A friend said it was leaving me a gift and was a sweet gesture. I said no it wasn't. "That cat was telling me that someday I will look just like that rat!" So it goes in Dogtown.
