Part of the Visual Journal program is our Visual Journey Club- a small band of art lovers who go to an exhibition (or simply a beautiful place) once a month for inspiration from the masters or from nature. There are no rules: come if you can. At museums, we’re mostly on our own until we meet   in the souvenir shop. From there we go for lunch and show our sketches-

Place: The National Museum of Modern Art, Ueno

Time: 10:00-11:45

Just go directly into the exhibition around 10:00. We’ll meet  in

the souvenir / postcard section around 11:45, then go for lunch.

Bring your sketch books -the smaller the better- and any art

you’d like to share.
