What to Expect from Heilkunst Treatment

The Heilkunst method recognizes that some diseases are of recent origin, often from an identifiable cause, and others are of long duration, recurring in different forms and conditions through life.
By treating two aspects of disease – tonic and pathic – Heilkunst treats at the appropriate level with powerful but subtle remedies. Heilkunst will therefore address a serious sprain (an acute condition) as effectively as migraine headaches (usually a chronic condition).
Conditions that are of long duration will usually take a relatively long period to eliminate.
The traumatic timeline drawn up by the client provides the map to treatment. The intent is to address both current disease and the traumata of old incidents. Once you complete your timeline, we recommend addressing the miasms, the inherent frailties of the person.
Clients are encouraged to call the office if they have an immediate acute concern - e.g. flu symptoms, or a child with teething pain.
Adjunct therapies are available to support & palliate.
Your First Appointment

The first consultation will take 1-1/2 to 2 hours. We will do a detailed intake that includes the history of your complaint and a look at your regimenal habits - eating, drinking, exercising, etc. You will leave the office with your first remedies, some lifestyle recommendations, and perhaps some questions to find answers to.
Follow-up Appointments

Appointments are every four to six weeks, unless there is an acute situation to be addressed in the interval. At each consultation we will address current symptoms and a time-line event. A complete timeline sequence typically takes two years to complete, but treatment proceeds at the rate determined by the individual.
