After
more than two years out of the blogging scene, i'm back.
In
the past i had a photoblog. Disappointed that there wasn't much
constructive criticism i did quit. But now a days i work hours on
pictures and there are a few people that see them. i always kept
my photosite online. (www.marinusphoto.com)
But that site did turn out to become a kind of blog and i did decide
to clean that up to a max of 20 pictures Still have to clean that
up.
I opened dreamweaver again and started to make the new set up for
the blog. But this time different and not only focused on pictures.
I am immigrating to Canada in the future, to live with my love LeRoy
and want all my friends and family, who i gonna leave behind to
see what i do. Specially mom and dad. That's why under the photo
is a daily text. In the future when i am in Canada i will translate
does English texts into Dutch,so mom can read them too.
Currently
i live in Eindhoven (de gekste) in the Netherlands.
You
have to scroll down on the daily post to read, but i think they
otherwise distract the photo and didn't want a new page for them.
think otherwise people get lost in the menu. The comment page is
already outside on another Url and that is a bit inconvenient sometimes
but that's the only way i could do it. your free to comment on every
days post. I like constructive critics but its ok to when you only
wanna say that you like it or not.
Mainly
i work with my Hasselblad 501 and swallow 120 roll film. (80% B&W)
using a Carl Zeiss 80mm Planar and a Carl Zeiss 150mm Sonnar. I
develop my own B&W film and although i can print as well i scan
the images. After scanning i Photoshop the images. Stamping hours
scanned dust.
LeRoy left me his old Canon rebel Although the Rebel still feels
like a stranger its a good way to experiment on a low budget, be
a bit more all round on a photo run and makes it easier to post
a photo daily.
There
is also a recipe page in this blog. I post my own recipes illustrated
with my own pictures. You will find a link on the link page. it
get about 1 post a month. But the set up is that i will have a little
cookbook in a few years.
Sometimes
people ask me if photography is my job. I wish it was and hope it
will be in the future.
Some
of the little turtles , are interactive and bring you to another
spot in the site/page. Mostly used for next image , previous image
and go to daily text. You can see if a image is interactive by moving
cursor over it and it wil change.
This
is a interactive/rollover turtle:

Feel
free to stroll around on my site. I hope you enjoy it.
