Tudor Forge was built in 1983 near Magnolia, TX.  Except for three years it operated continuously as a place to learn to teach and to forge metals with simple tools, fire and water. Simple tools include all human powered tools.  Examples are the hammer, anvil, punch, file, treadle hammer and drill press. Preferred forging metals include wrought iron, steel, copper and aluminum.
