This online exhibition brings together a selection of old and new work. Various media are used to make marks from the wild spontaneity of charcoal to the almost obsessive detail of watercolour. Creativity that responds directly to the natural environment is often perceived as naïve. Naïve in the same way that all children love drawing animals. In today’s world obsessed with the next new cutting edge and almost divorced from the earthiness of animals, most children ‘grow out of it’. I am still growing into naivety in my creative practice with a continued sense of wonder at the diversity of life on earth. A Member of: The Artists for Conservation Foundation .
