Worship at MHP

Welcome to the Morningside - High Park Presbyterian Church website.

We seek to be a faithful, caring, hospitable church home, and would love to have you join us for worship on Sunday morning at 11:00 am . This website is intended to give you a brief introduction to the life and work of our community of faith.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 416-766-4765 or email at the above link.

The church lives to praise God.
We have no higher calling
than to offer the worship that belongs to God
day by day, Sunday by Sunday.

Through the preaching of the Word
and the celebration of the Sacraments,
in praise, prayer, teaching and fellowship,
God sustains the life of the church.
We worship God as Lord
offering ourselves in the service of Christ,
rejoicing that we have been brought
from darkness to light.

Worship draws us into the work of Christ.
Even now he intercedes for the world
to which he came and for which he died.
In union with him, the church prays
for the healing and salvation of the world.

Fair Trade Coffee / Schoolhouse Project

Through the sale of Fair Trade products, the congregation is raising money to fund a soon to be determined mission and outreach project. We helped  fund a Schoolhouse in Africa, in memory of Don Jennison and celebrated the end of that project on April 27, 2008. To find out more, please click on the links below

Fundscrip / Eritrean Refugee Fundraiser

Through the sale of retail gift cards, a portion of each card is used to help us financially prepare for our refugee's arrival. Find out more about the program click here.

Everyone is welcome to join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. We will resume 11:00 am worship on September

We try to worship in ways that glorify God, and encourage the faith community.  We believe that worship should be biblically sound, spiritually uplifting, culturally relevant, intellectually stimulating, appropriately inclusive, and meaningful for all ages.

At the same time as our worship service, there is a Sunday School program for children, and a bright and clean nursery for infants.
