Welcome back to school all returning families and a special welcome to our new SATEC families! We hope you had a great summer. Join us and make the school year a family affair! We all have different talents and areas of expertise. Volunteering can take on many different forms and they all help us reach the goal of educating all of our students at SATEC.
SATEC students and families rely on volunteers to help make their academic experience a success! We need our volunteers to promote our students’ interests, activities, and to raise funds. The funds we raise provide numerous educational tools and programs to enrich our students’ lives.
There are several ways to support our PTO and all of them help in their own way. As a parent or guardian of an SATEC student, you are automatically a member of our PTO. There are no membership dues, although donations are always appreciated and checks can be made payable to SATEC PTO.
Attending the monthly meetings and providing suggestions and input is also vital to the success of the SATEC PTO. Volunteering to work on or at fundraising events provides the support our school needs.
We welcome your involvement! Meetings are announced both on the website and in the monthly PTO newsletter. Our meetings are typically the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the SATEC Library. All meetings are open. Come be a part of our SATEC family! We hope the speakers we invite and the information we discuss will help connect each and every SATEC family.
