The rest

Back in the mid 90’s I went on a course called the AIDS Mastery. The course itself changed my life because it woke me up to the power of making a choice. It was a first step but a huge one. During my time there I met a Buddhist. She told me she chanted. Later we tried it and it seemed to have no effect. And yet somehow while I could not see its significance it was the planting of a seed or perhaps one condition in the germination of an already existent seed. Later I was drawn to the Manchester Buddhist Centre and at last found the teaching of the Buddha in a format that resonated with me.  See FWBO Buddhism
